MERE and DISTRICT SKITTLES LEAGUE
The Mere and District Skittles League was formed around 1955 and consists of four
divisions.
Teams are drawn from pubs and clubs in the Mere, Gillingham and Shaftesbury
areas, including Kilmington, Maiden Bradley, Zeals, Hindon, East Knoyle, Motcombe,
Donhead and East Stour.

130 youngsters playing competitive football in seven teams and

GILLINGHAM TOWN CRICKET CLUB
Gillingham Town Cricket Club have 2 weekend league teams,
one on Saturday playing in the Dorset Saturday league and one
on Sunday. The first team has just gained promotion to the 2nd
division. We also have a mid week evening side that plays in
the Ranson League.
We are always on the look out for new members of any age and our age range
of players is from 12 to 60+ for the recent season. Our youth coach is
